You aint gonna stop Matt Daemon!
$ service mattd start Starting Matt Daemon... [ OK ] $ service mattd status Matt Daemon is running. $ service mattd stop You can't stop Matt Daemon. Permission denied. [FAILED] $ sudo service mattd stop Stopping Matt Daemon... [ OK ]
But it actually is a big FAIL, because not every Linux uses service, I think its only for Fedora/RedHat and some distributions. My Gentoo doesnt use that helper.
THEY SHOULD HAVE LEFT HIM ALONE, LOL!
