Sea Battle is a Battleship clone, its very colorful and easy to play.

Title screen
It only has three types of ships, Submarine, Battleship, and Aircraft Carrier. Not the usual five ships setting.

Ship placements
I think its an unfinished game, because you can only play against computer, the network game, options, and help are all not available. Since the last version was nearly twenty years ago, a finished game is highly unlikely.

Fire in progress
It also has a DOS version beside the Unix version. There is also sound support, but even with aoss wrapper and an option asking me if I wanted the sound, still no sounds were played.
Sea Battle was written by Vince Weaver in C with ncurses without specified license, currently version 1.0 (1997-05-14).
